LFW SS19: My Top 10 Trends

London fashion week was one of extravagance this Spring. Both well established and lesser-known designers lived up to the hypercreative stereotype that is associated with the London fashion scene.

Many designers had created bold statements through the use of colour, silhouette, texture and patterns such as Gareth Puge, Erdem and Simone Rocha. There were runways that were pure artworks, a standout was Mary Katrantzou with each runway exit being an artistic masterpiece. I thoroughly enjoyed the runways of Christopher Kane, Roksanda, Jil Sander and Ports 1961 for their use of fabrics, silhouettes and texture. Others were new and modern with a great sense of playfulness, such as Rejina Pyo, which I featured in my previous post.

There were many trends from NYFW that transcended onto the London runways such as suiting, neons, red and mixed prints. The list I have compiled below were dominant specifically to London and there for making up my top 10.
