Raf Simons Spring/Summer 19 Collection for Calvin Klein 205W39NYC presented at New York Fashion Week was a standout of mine. Two years into his time at CK, he has immersed himself into the American vernacular which is evident in this current collection. Paying homage to Steven Spielberg’s 1975 blockbuster, Jaws and Mike Nichols classic, The Graduate, as reference points.

Simons continues to inspire me, his creative diversity is outstanding yet he maintains his own design style in the works he presents no matter which major fashion house he heads up. I’ve illustrated one of my favourite looks from his runway, an oversized tailored blazer paired with Jaws/“CK” logo tees and tie-dyed wetsuit mini.
