One of my all-time inspirations in fashion design is Comme Des Garcons creator, Rei Kawakubo, her creativity and uniqueness are out of this world. The relevance of her collections is continuous and is often an expression of her social observations.

This SS19 collection was no exception. Her poignant commentary on women’s bodies and identity in the society was strongly represented through silhouette and constraints of chains, ties and knots. This collection was a reworking of her classic design identity, 
peplum jackets and coats, jumpsuit tuxedos, knotting and draping fabric.
